Terms & Conditions.

Last updated · 2 May 2026

The terms that govern your use of bintabadmus.com and any order placed with us. Please read them carefully — by ordering from the atelier, you accept them in full.

  1. 01

    Measurements & sizing

Customers may share their measurements with us, choose one of our standard sizes, visit our physical store to be measured in person, or request a virtual measurement consultation after payment.

If you're unsure of your measurements, we recommend taking advantage of our virtual consultation — it's the surest way to a piece that fits beautifully the first time.

  2. 02

    Order processing & delivery

Ready-to-wear items are processed within 24 hours of payment.

Made-to-measure items are processed within 1 — 3 working days, extending to 5 — 10 working days during festive periods.

Processing time is separate from delivery time. Once an order leaves the atelier, the time it takes to reach you depends on your chosen courier and destination.

  3. 03

    Payment policy

A minimum 70% deposit is required before processing begins. The remaining 30% must be paid before delivery or pickup.

We accept payments in Nigerian Naira (₦) and US Dollars ($) via bank transfer, POS, and international payment gateways.

  4. 04

    Returns & exchanges

We do not offer refunds or exchanges. We invest deeply in the craft of every piece, and our policy reflects the bespoke nature of our work.

Minor alterations are complimentary within 7 days of delivery. Major alterations may attract additional charges.

Where a fit issue arises from measurements provided by the customer, the customer bears the delivery costs associated with the alteration — or may arrange local drop-off and pickup.

  5. 05

    Alterations policy

Complimentary minor alterations are offered within 7 days of delivery — small adjustments to ensure your piece sits as it should.

Major alterations, where required, may attract a fee. Where the alteration is needed because of measurements you supplied to us, you'll cover the courier costs to and from the atelier, or arrange a local drop-off and pickup.

  6. 06

    Refund policy

Refunds are not offered on customised items, except in cases of company error or a defect in the piece.

Slight differences in fabric colour or texture — natural variations across batches and dye lots — do not qualify for refunds.

  7. 07

    Order cancellations

Custom orders may be cancelled only if production has not yet started.

Ready-to-wear orders may be cancelled only if processing has not yet commenced.

Once cutting, sewing, or fulfilment is underway, the order is committed and cannot be cancelled.

  8. 08

    Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government regulations, pandemics, strikes, or shipping disruptions.

Where such events arise, we will keep you informed and do everything within our power to fulfil your order as soon as conditions allow.

  9. 09

    Privacy

We collect personal information solely for the purpose of processing your order, improving our service, and providing customer support.

Your information is not shared with third parties, except where strictly necessary to fulfil your order or where required by law.

  10. 10

    Cookies

We use cookies to remember your preferences, analyse site traffic, and offer tailored promotions where appropriate.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality — for example, you may not be able to stay signed in or keep items in your bag between visits.

  11. 11

    Intellectual property

All website and product content — designs, photography, copy, illustrations, the Binta Badmus name and logos — are the exclusive property of Binta Badmus Lady.

These materials may not be copied, reproduced, or used in any form without our prior written consent.

  12. 12

    Governing law & dispute resolution

All transactions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms will be resolved through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), specifically mediation, at a location mutually agreed by both parties.

All matters remain under Nigerian jurisdiction.
